New Giftcards Hint at Prehistoric World?

Besides the Boochbeard Bundle (take a look, parts one and two), the Admiral's Bundle, the Cutthroat Bundle, and the two other known Pirate101 giftcards, two others have shown up. Not only that, but a new Wizard101 bundle is appearing. These are pretty interesting - take a look!

The first is a Wizard101 Prehistoric Bundle!

This impressive card includes a two player "Scare-O-Dactyl" mount, plus a Babydactyl pet, War Axe, and Cave Dweller Outfit, in addition to the usual 1 month or 5000 crowns. The last item is where it gets interesting. There's a Scare-O-Dactyl Treehouse involved. I don't suppose it's a new house, because it's a $29 bundle, and they don't traditionally come with houses. It might be a dungeon like the Pagoda, but that was a $39 card, right? We're all anxious to find out what this card is.

This next card is a new Pirate101 $10 one. It comes with a Turtle pet, and depicts Cutthroat Bay. The card is to be available at Wal-Mart.

This final card shows a MooShu ship in the skyways. It's a $20 card that includes a Vermilion Dragon pet. It will also be available at Wal-Mart stores.

Of course, the new Pirate101 cards are neat, but what about that Wizard101 card? Pretty interesting, hmm? For cards like the Pagoda gauntlet, all they really have to do for gear and such is modify existing MooShu outfits. However, with some cards, they have to start from scratch. Take the Sun Palace for instance. None of those elements of the house or outfit existed before.

It was convenient  because they could take those items and use them for their next world - Zafaria. It was our first real clue. Recently, I've talked about Polaris, and I noticed that the style was very similar to the Majestic Bundle house. Also, it has become seemingly easy to transfer items between Wizard101 and Pirate101 on KingsIsle's part, and they already have several white bears and penguins created.

So, is this bundle a hint, too? A prehistoric world would be a very strong theme, and that's really what Wizard101 is going for - very distinct, strong themes. Think about it - Big pyramids and deep tombs, city streets and various rooftops, serene villages and winding paths, dark ruins and volcanic locations, sunken cities and underwater domes, treetop lookouts and jungle environments, ancient castles and fairytale areas - why not throw prehistoric in there?

The Pirate101 Cutthroat Bundle also uses ancient skeletons - it'd be easy to reuse and redesign something similar, right?

What's your opinion? Would you enjoy that type of world? And now that you know more about the bundle, are you educated enough to make a decision on whether or not to buy it?

That's it for now, thanks for reading and see you in the Spiral!
