The Epic Bundle is Retiring, J. Todd Coleman's Message, and Save on Membership

We're a little light on news today, nothing major, but here's a look into what's yet to come this month on Swordroll's Blog:

  • Top 10 Instances, based on a survey conducted on Wizard101 Central and personal experience, with information of their uses and why they're favorites among the community.
  • A Halloween special which will [hopefully - that's an important word] include an invitation to a small Haunted House to display several of the new items from the Nightmare Pack and other Halloween information from the spiral.
  • Tips and tricks for creating a successful website, including information on what makes a site accurate and user-friendly, plus some comments, concerns, and possibly awards for fantastic fansites and blogs that stand out in the community!

Of course, that's just what I hope to post in the remainder of the month, so keep a lookout!

The Epic Bundle is retiring November 7th! That means you'll no longer be able to get that Massive Fantasy Palace or that Swift Gryphon Mount (unless you live in the UK, you can buy it from the Crown Shop). The Ancient Spear of Power and the gear is disappearing, too. And that Fierce Hound, common as it may be, will no longer be available in a first generation form. The fairly rare additional housing space elixir will disappear from this bundle, too.

Get the Epic Bundle from Toys R' Us or Gamestop while you still can, before November 7th!

Merle Ambrose (J. Todd Coleman) has a message for all of the wizards of the spiral:

Hey gang,

I wanted to drop you a quick note to warn you of a scam that has been going on recently. People have been going onto facebook and into the game and pretending to be me -- or another member of the KI staff -- and offering to give out "free items" or "crowns" in exchange for providing them your user account and password information.

We have said this before, but it bears repeating:

KingsIsle Employees will NEVER ask you for your account information or password. NEVER. (Why would we? We already have your account information!)

If someone is asking you for your account information, that individual is likely trying to trick you and steal you account. DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM!

KingsIsle staff members in the game have a badge that says, "KingsIsle Support" -- if someone is claiming to work for KingsIsle and cannot or will not show you this badge, please report them immediately.

Some players have asked if I maintain a facebook fan profile. I do, in fact, and I post there periodically. For those of you who are interested., it can be found here:

https://www.facebook.com/pages/J-Todd-Coleman/1210 ...

ANY other profile page claiming to be me is also a fake/imposter, likely created to steal the accounts (and crowns) from unsuspecting players. My ONLY official fan page is the one listed above.

Thank you for your time and attention, for enjoying our game.
